Joey is a true North Country native and a proud 1997 graduate of Colebrook Academy. While earning his B.S. in Business from Champlain College in Burlington, Vermont, he began his career as the Marketing Manager for SERVPRO® of Burlington/S. Burlington, VT and SERVPRO® of Clinton & Essex Counties, NY. His experience in disaster restoration and insurance laid a strong foundation for navigating complex transactions and advocating for his clients with confidence and care.
In 2017, Joey founded A Notch Above Group with a mission to deliver a higher level of service to North Country buyers and sellers. That vision took a leap forward in 2021 when the team partnered with Keller Williams Coastal and Lakes & Mountains Realty, unlocking industry-leading education, national exposure, and a robust referral network—enhancements that directly benefit every buyer and seller they work with. This partnership has allowed Joey and his team to remain local experts while offering the elevated service of a nationally recognized brand.
Joey specializes in listings and is known for his expert pricing strategies, strong negotiation skills, and commitment to getting results. His yearly sales numbers consistently place him among the top agents in the region. Outside of real estate, you’ll find Joey chasing another set of goals: visiting all 50 U.S. State Capitols, exploring every Presidential Library, and attending a home game for every professional sports team in the country. He’s a dedicated college basketball fan, especially loyal to the UConn Women’s and Men’s teams, and makes it a point to attend conference tournaments, March Madness Regionals, and the Women’s Final Four each year.
And perhaps most importantly, in December 2021, Joey met the apple of his eye: Becky—a gorgeous Goldendoodle who quickly became the heartbeat of the team. Now proudly serving as A Notch Above Group’s “Barketing Manager,” Becky plays a starring role in marketing, photo shoots, and client smiles everywhere she goes.
